Electro-Voice EVID-S8.2 8-Inch Two-Way Surface-Mount Loudspeaker (Supplied as a Pair)

The EVID-S8.2 is the biggest of the EVID surface-mount cabinets: an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter covering 90 by 90 degrees, rated 90 W continuous into 8 ohms and good for 116 dB peak. It is supplied as a pair, which is how these get specified - one either side of a bar, a lobby or a covered terrace.

The bracket is part of the design rather than an add-on, and gives 90 degrees of horizontal rotation and 45 degrees of vertical, so aiming is done on the wall rather than on paper. Wiring lands on a removable four-pin Euroblock. The cabinet is rated IP54, so covered outdoor positions are fair game. The T versions carry a 70/100 V transformer for constant-voltage distribution systems; the plain versions are low-impedance only.
