Electro-Voice EVID-C12.2 12-Inch Two-Way Coaxial Ceiling Loudspeaker
The EVID C12.2 is the largest ceiling speaker in the EVID line - a 12-inch coaxial driver with a 1-inch high-frequency section, crossed at 2 kHz, in a steel back-can. Sensitivity is 100 dB and it reaches 65 Hz at -3 dB, so a small number of them will fill a high-ceilinged space that would otherwise need dozens of 4-inch or 6-inch units.
It works on a low-impedance 8 ohm run or on a 70 V or 100 V line, with taps at 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 watts and ASC protection on the transformer. Installation uses three integrated toggle anchors, and threaded 3/8-inch rod points are provided for open ceilings where there is no tile to clamp to.
