Electro-Voice CPS8.5 Eight-Channel Install Power Amplifier

The CPS8.5 doubles the channel count of the CPS4.5 in the same rack-efficient footprint, running eight channels at 500 W into 2 ohms or 450 W at 70V/100V for large zoned distribution jobs. Two channels can bridge together for up to 1000 W where one zone needs more headroom than the rest.

Eight electronically balanced Phoenix-type inputs keep wiring straightforward across that many zones, and the Class-D topology holds a 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio while running on either 120V or 220-240V mains. The same complete protection set as the rest of the CPS line covers thermal, overload, short-circuit, HF, DC, back-EMF, and inrush faults.
