Electro-Voice CPS4.5 Four-Channel Install Power Amplifier

The CPS4.5 is the mid-power step in EV's CPS install amplifier line, delivering 500 W per channel across four channels at 2 or 4 ohms, or 500 W continuous at 70V/100V for tapped distributed lines. The Class-D design keeps the chassis efficient enough for front-to-rear fan cooling in a single rack space.

Four electronically balanced Phoenix-type inputs feed the amp, and a switchable 50 Hz high-pass filter in Hi-Z mode protects distributed-line transformers from unnecessary low end. Full protection against thermal, overload, short-circuit, HF, DC, back-EMF, and inrush faults is built in, along with a programmable power-on delay for multi-amp racks.
