The 0173-5026 is the wall mount kit for an ultra short throw projector, the case where the projector hangs above and just in front of the screen rather than back in the room. It pairs a dual-stud short throw extension arm with a universal mini projector mount, so the arm carries the load into the wall framing while the mount head handles the alignment. The arm extends from 12.8 to 20 inches off the wall, which is the working range for setting the projector at the right standoff from the board or screen.

Because the head is the universal type rather than a model-specific bracket, it adapts to a range of ultra short throw and short throw chassis instead of locking you to one projector. The kit includes the Universal Interface and the hardware for wood stud, steel stud, and concrete wall construction, so the installer is not chasing anchors on install day.
