DAS Audio UX-221 Passive Subwoofer

The UX-221 pairs two 21-inch neodymium drivers with 6-inch voice coils and 60 mm of peak-to-peak excursion for ultra-low-frequency reinforcement below a line array or point-source rig. It handles 2000 W continuous, 8000 W peak, and covers 25 Hz - 100 Hz at up to 145 dB peak SPL from a passive, externally amplified cabinet.

The enclosure is solid 21 mm Birch plywood with extensive bracing to control resonance, finished in DAS Audio's black ISO-flex protective coating. A double silicone spider design controls the moving mass through full excursion, keeping distortion down at the low end of the passband.
