DAS Audio UX-218 Passive Subwoofer

The UX-218 is a passive touring subwoofer built around two 18UXN long-excursion drivers in a front-loaded cross-fire configuration, each with a 4-inch sandwich split-winding voice coil and 52 mm of peak-to-peak excursion. It handles 2200 W and covers 28 Hz - 125 Hz, reaching 143 dB peak SPL for large-format low end under a line array.

The cabinet is solid Birch plywood with extensive internal bracing and DAS Audio's ISO-flex protective coating, built for external amplification via 4-ohm speaker connections. The UX-218-R carries the same driver complement and acoustic output as the standard UX-218, with arrayable rigging hardware added for flown multi-cabinet subwoofer arrays.
