Tensioned Advantage is Da-Lite's ceiling-recessed electric screen with the tensioning system built in. A tab guide cable system pulls the fabric flat side to side while a weighted slat bar holds it down, so the surface stays genuinely flat instead of rippling at the edges - which is what a wide-throw lens will show up in the first minute of a demo. The Da-Mat surface is a smooth white vinyl with a wide viewing angle, flame retardant and mildew resistant.

The case installs at rough-in and the fabric assembly goes in at the finish stage, so the screen does not sit on site collecting drywall dust for three months. The Advantage line ships with its ceiling trim already fitted, and that trim covers the rough opening once the case is in - no separate trim carpentry.
