Crestron USB-EXT-3 KIT USB 3.2 Extender over CAT6a/7 Cable

The USB-EXT-3 kit extends USB 3.2 Gen 1 at up to 5 Gbps, along with USB 2.0 and 1.1 simultaneously, up to 330 ft over CAT6a or CAT7 cable. It is specified for cameras and video capture devices using isochronous transport, which is exactly the traffic that ordinary USB extenders drop frames on.

Both endpoints also carry a 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T LAN passthrough port, so one cable run serves the USB device and the network device at the far end. The local box presents a USB Type-B host port; the remote supports up to 30 devices through a maximum of three hubs. Power packs are included at both ends, 1 A at 24 VDC locally and 2.71 A remotely, the chassis are black anodised aluminium, and the system is fanless with no acoustic noise.
