Crestron RMC3
The Crestron RMC3 is a compact, cost-effective 3-Series Control System built to run a single display, a small AV rack, or a room's lighting, shades, climate, and security. Its tiny enclosure mounts to a flat surface or snaps onto a DIN rail with the included bracket, so it fits inside furniture, behind a screen, or in a network closet. The 3-Series engine runs a real-time, preemptive multitasking kernel with 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM and 4 GB of flash.
Wired control comes from one bidirectional RS-232/422/485 COM port and two IR/serial outputs, and the RMC3 supports Cresnet in master mode for powered Crestron peripherals. It takes its operating power straight from the network over PoE, so no local supply or dedicated power run is needed, and its 10/100 Ethernet port carries the usual Crestron security stack of TLS, SSH, SFTP, and 802.1X.
