Crestron CP3N
The Crestron CP3N is a rack-mountable 3-Series control processor that adds an isolated Control Subnet to the standard CP3 feature set. The Control Subnet is a dedicated gigabit Ethernet network reserved for Crestron devices: an installer can connect a single touch screen or wireless gateway directly, or add a Crestron PoE switch to fan out to many touch screens, gateways, and AV components. The CP3N auto-discovers each device on the subnet and assigns its IP address without manual configuration.
Running the 3-Series control engine with 512 MB of SDRAM and 4 GB of flash, the CP3N coordinates AV, lighting, shades, HVAC, and security from one program. Onboard COM, IR/serial, relay, Versiport I/O, and Cresnet ports handle direct device control, with SD card and USB storage for logs and expansion. It occupies a single rack unit.
