Crestron CP3 The 3-Series processor

The Crestron CP3 is a rack-mountable 3-Series control processor that runs the logic behind a whole-building control system, coordinating AV switching, lighting, shades, HVAC, and security from a single program. The 3-Series engine uses a real-time, preemptive multitasking kernel and a transaction-safe file system, with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of onboard flash that expands through an external drive.

A full complement of onboard ports handles direct device control: three COM ports, eight IR/serial ports, eight relays, and eight Versiport I/O ports, alongside Ethernet and Cresnet for networked devices and endpoints. A high-speed USB 2.0 host port and a rear memory card slot round out connectivity. The CP3 occupies a single rack unit.
