Crestron CP3-R

The Crestron CP3-R is a rack-mountable 3-Series control processor built specifically to run a Crestron Pyng home automation system, with the embedded Pyng OS 2 operating system loaded in place of the general-purpose control firmware. It carries more processing headroom than the base processor so it can handle larger jobs: whole-home automation, home theater, multiroom video, and multi-dwelling-unit deployments configured through the Pyng app rather than hand-written programs.

A full set of onboard ports handles direct device control, including RS-232/422/485 serial, IR/serial, relay, and digital/analog I/O, alongside Ethernet and Cresnet for networked endpoints. The unit ships with four IRP2 IR emitters, with additional emitters available separately, and runs from an included 24 Vdc power pack. It occupies a single rack unit.
