Crestron AV4
The Crestron AV4 is a 4-Series control processor that forms the core of a networked commercial or residential control system, running the programs that tie together AV, lighting, shades, HVAC, and security across a building. The 4-Series engine adds processing headroom over earlier generations, with 2 GB of SDRAM and 8 GB of flash on board, and a dedicated Control Subnet that keeps Crestron endpoints on their own isolated gigabit network away from the corporate LAN.
Onboard IR/serial, COM, relay, digital/analog I/O, and Cresnet ports handle direct device control, while four Control Subnet ports with PoE+ power and connect touch screens, gateways, and DM endpoints. The AV4 accepts the CAGE3 accessory to add three control card expansion slots on the rear panel, and an SD card slot holds up to 32 GB for log storage. It mounts in a standard 19-inch rack with the included ears.
