Clear-Com PT-8 Handheld Push-to-Talk Intercom Microphone
The PT-8 is a compact handheld communications microphone for positions where a headset is impractical: a control desk, a gate house, a vehicle, or any spot where the operator picks up the mic, talks, and puts it back down. The omnidirectional dynamic element runs 50Hz to 16kHz into a 600 Ohm load, and the housing is rated IP54 against dust and splashing water.
The body is shaped to sit in the hand and tough enough to survive being dropped on concrete, with a swivel tab assembly so it hangs on a clip or a dash bracket without twisting the 9.8ft cable. The -X4 carries the 4-pin connector used across Clear-Com intercom stations; the -X7 is the 7-pin version for land mobile and CB radio positions.
