Clear-Com FSII BASE 5 X5
The FSII-BASE-5-X5 is the 1RU heart of a Clear-Com FreeSpeak II digital wireless intercom, licensed out of the box for five beltpacks and expandable to twenty-five with a license upgrade. It works with FreeSpeak II active transceiver antennas in both the 1.9 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands, up to ten antennas per system, and organizes traffic across twelve channels and twelve groups so a large crew can be split into the conversations that make sense.
The rear panel carries four two-wire partyline connections, four four-wire line-level audio ports, a program-audio input, and a stage-announce output, letting the wireless tie cleanly into an existing wired plant. This X5 version differs from the standard base by a 5-pin female headset jack on the front, so a wired operator can sit at the base with an X5 headset. It anchors intercom for broadcast, live events, and theater.
