The Kontour K1D is a two-link gas-spring desk arm that floats the monitor rather than holding it - lift it, drop it, push it back, and it stays. Height travel is 13 inches and reach is 20.6 inches, which covers a sit-stand desk without re-tensioning anything.

Its useful trick is the weight range: one arm handles 5 to 25 lb, so a light panel and a heavy all-in-one both work without ordering a separate heavy-duty version. Chief's Centris Extreme Tilt gives +75 to -10 degrees by fingertip, enough to angle a screen down at a standing user. The arms are forged aluminium, installation is three steps with a quick-release monitor interface, and the base has tool storage built in. It clamps to a desk edge, drops through a standard grommet hole, or bolts through with the included kit. Cable covers go on without tools. TAA compliant, black.
