Chauvet DJ Swarm 4 FX

Swarm 4 FX runs three effects from one compact fixture. Two quad-color RGBA moonflowers at 13 W each spin colored beams across a dance floor, a red and green laser adds thousands of fine beams on top, and a ring of twelve white LEDs handles strobe with built-in motion effects of its own.

Running all three from one power drop and one DMX address is the practical benefit for a mobile rig where every additional fixture is another stand, another cable and another trip to the van. The laser diodes are 30 mW green at 532 nm and 100 mW red at 650 nm. Control is 2 or 12 channel DMX over 3-pin XLR, sound activation, master/slave, or the optional IRC-6 remote. It draws 47 W so 11 units link at 120 V, and weighs 5.4 lb.
