Chauvet DJ Freedom Cyc Battery Cyc Light

Freedom Cyc is a wireless cyclorama light, which is a harder job than it sounds: a normal par mounted at the base of a wall makes a bright hot spot at the bottom and nothing at the top. The lens design here spreads the output up the surface instead, delivering an even wash across a 52 degree beam and 95 degree field with no cable to the fixture.

Sixteen LEDs, four each of red, green, blue and warm white at 48 W total, mix through the same optic, and the warm white is what makes the color temperature presets usable for skin tones and drape. It runs up to 8 hours on battery with all colors on, or plugs into mains for higher output when a drop is available. Control is 4, 6 or 10 channel DMX over 3-pin XLR, FlareCON, the IRC-6, or master/slave with other Freedom fixtures at up to 650 feet.
