Chauvet DJ Followspot 200ST
The 200ST is a manual followspot built around a single 200 watt cool-white LED instead of the discharge lamps that older followspots need - there is no warm-up time, no strike delay, and no bulb to replace on a schedule. A manual zoom narrows the beam from 17 down to 12 degrees, and the iris closes as tight as 5 degrees for a hard-edged spot on a single performer.
Seven dichroic colors plus open white are selectable at the fixture, along with a strobe effect from 0 to 25 Hz for a hit or an entrance. It runs on 3-pin XLR DMX for basic remote dimming and shutter control, but the pan, tilt, zoom, iris and color changes are all manual at the yoke - this is a spotlight operator's tool, not a moving head. The included stand adjusts from 2.8 to 3.8 feet.
