Canon XF605 Professional Camcorder
The Canon XF605 is a professional handheld camcorder built around a 1.0-inch type CMOS sensor and the DIGIC DV7 imaging engine, capable of 4K UHD recording at up to 60P in 4:2:2 10-bit color. Its 4K L-series 15x optical zoom lens covers a 25.5-382.5mm equivalent range with a variable f/2.8-4.5 aperture and three independent rings for zoom, focus, and iris, giving a camera operator the tactile control of a broadcast lens in a compact body. Dual Pixel CMOS AF with Eye Detection and head-detection tracking keeps fast-moving subjects locked in.
The camera records XF-AVC and MP4 to dual SD card slots for flexible workflows and quick delivery, and offers multiple recording modes including slow and fast motion up to 120fps in Full HD. Five-axis optical image stabilization steadies handheld shooting, and a 12G-SDI output alongside HDMI gives a single-cable connection to modern broadcast and streaming infrastructure. At around 2 kg it is a well-balanced solo-shooter tool for news, sports, and documentary.
