The LP-E6N is Canon's genuine lithium-ion battery for a broad lineup of EOS DSLR and mirrorless cameras, from the 5D, 6D, 7D, and xxD series to the R5 and R6. It is the workhorse pack most Canon shooters already carry, and a real Canon cell keeps the in-camera fuel gauge accurate and the safety circuitry intact.

Rated at 7.2V and 1865 mAh, it recharges on the LC-E6 or LC-E6E charger and can also top up in-camera on cameras that support the PD-E1 USB adapter. It weighs about 79 g, so a spare or two adds almost nothing to the bag.
