The PG-1 mkII banks eight switched, filtered, and surge-protected outlets into four groups, digital audio (x2), analog audio, and high current, with the high-current group time-delayed on power-up to keep speakers from popping when a rack fires on. Two front-panel convenience outlets, a USB charging port, and an XLR lamp connection round out the front panel.

PG-99 filtering technology, using premium Panasonic and Wima capacitors, is rated at an average of 99.7 percent noise filtering against roughly 85 percent typical of competing units at the price.
