Black Lion Audio Micro Clock mkIII XB Word Clock

The Micro Clock mkIII XB is Black Lion's high-end master clock, built around high-quality crystal oscillators and galvanic isolation to hold BNC output jitter to 0.6 pS RMS, under a third of what the standard Micro Clock delivers. That tighter timing reference translates directly into a cleaner, more focused stereo image from every converter locked to it.

Outputs cover six BNC word clock connections, an XLR AES output, an RCA S/PDIF, and an optical S/PDIF, with BNC supporting sample rates from 44.1 kHz up to 384 kHz. It runs on a compact 9 VDC, 6-watt supply through a 2.1 mm center-positive barrel connector, in a small chassis that fits into a crowded rack.
