The Biamp Desono DX-S8-UB is a 2-way, 8-inch surface mount loudspeaker built for business audio and installed sound systems. Drivers are LF 1 x 8 inches; HF 1 x 1.25 inches. The transducer complement is LF 1 x 8 inches (203 mm) HF 1 x 1.25 inches (32 mm) exit compression driver. Its operating range is 62 Hz - 18 kHz.

Power handling is rated at 175W Cont.; 700W Peak. Rated output power is 116 dB; 126 dB Peak. Biamp recommends Passive 175 W - 350 W into 8 ohms, (37 V - 53 V) of amplifier power. Nominal impedance is 7 ohms. Order it in 2 versions: B Black, W White.
