Black Box SM262A Pro Switching Gang Switch Controller Card - 2U, Ethernet (SNMP)/RS232

The SM262A is the controller card for a Black Box Pro Switching gang switch chassis. A gang switch flips a connection between two destinations - a live path and a backup, or a primary and a test rig - and this 2U card is what decides when that happens, under Ethernet with SNMP or over RS232.

Front-panel control is deliberately physical: a momentary toggle, a momentary push-button, an 8-position DIP switch and a key-lock switch, with two LEDs for power and status. Connections are an RJ45 plus two RJ-11 jacks. Where multiple chassis are daisy-chained, the controller card in the first chassis runs the whole system. Made in the United States.
