Audix D6X Dynamic Instrument Microphone

The D6X builds on the D6, Audix's highly praised dynamic for kick drums, large toms, and bass cabinets, keeping the same VLM (Very Low Mass) capsule technology and transformerless low-impedance design. A new switch on the body unlocks three sound profiles instead of one fixed voicing.

The bottom Deep position keeps 100 percent of the classic D6 sound, Balanced adds more mids and upper mids for a more traditional kick tone without losing the D6 punch, and Natural pushes the response toward a more linear behavior with extra midrange, useful on percussion, guitar cabs, and other instruments beyond kick drum. It is lightweight, compact, and designed and crafted in the USA.
