AUDAC WMM630

The WMM630 is AUDAC's MDF back box for flush-mount ceiling speakers, giving the driver a sealed 21-litre volume to load against rather than an open ceiling void. That is what stops the sound of one room escaping into the next through the plenum, and it is why a back box makes a ceiling speaker sound like a loudspeaker instead of a hole.

It arrives pre-cut for a 150 mm speaker opening and pre-marked for circular cut-outs up to 250 mm, so one box covers most of the range. Construction is medium density fibreboard with a structured coating, pre-fitted with acoustic damping material, and L-brackets at the corners fix it to studs or beams. It measures 13.58 x 21.46 x 5.91 inches with a 5.31-inch built-in depth.
