Atlona AT-UHD-SW-514K UHD HDMI Switcher

The AT-UHD-SW-51 is a five-input, one-output HDMI switcher for rooms where the source count is the problem: five devices stay permanently connected and any one of them can take the display. It handles 4K/UHD at 4096x2160 or 3840x2160 up to 60 Hz using 4:2:0 8-bit color, passes 3D, and carries 10.2 Gbps of HDMI bandwidth, with EDID and HDCP management on board to keep handshakes predictable across a mixed set of sources.

Audio is where this switcher earns its rack space. It de-embeds PCM from the HDMI stream to either a S/PDIF digital output or a two-channel analog output, passes Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio bitstreams through to a receiver untouched, and accepts an Audio Return Channel feed from the display back to the S/PDIF output. It can run standalone from the front-panel buttons and IR remote with auto-switching, or drop into a control system over RS-232 or TCP/IP with its built-in web GUI. The half-rack 1RU enclosure mounts with 19 in rack brackets.
