Audio-Technica ATW-702

The ATW-702 is a handheld wireless system from Audio-Technica's 700 Series Freeway line, pairing the True Diversity ATW-R700 receiver with the ATW-T702 handheld unidirectional dynamic microphone/transmitter. It is a dependable single-channel vocal system for presenters, worship, and small stages, with automatic frequency scanning to find an open channel.

The ATW-R700 chooses the stronger of two antennas to fend off dropouts and uses Tone Lock squelch to keep the channel quiet between cues. The system tunes eight frequency-coordinated channels across 542.125-561.250 MHz (TV 26-29), and the handheld transmitter runs on AA batteries with a working range around 300 feet.
