Audio-Technica AT8004L Omnidirectional Dynamic Microphone (Long Handle)

The AT8004L is a rugged omnidirectional dynamic handheld built for on-location interviews, ENG, and sportscasting, where the mic gets passed around and needs to survive it. A hardened-steel grille and internal shock mounting keep handling and cable noise out of the signal, and the omnidirectional pattern captures natural ambience along with the speaker's voice.

Its 9.43-inch handle is longer than the standard AT8004's 5.93 inches, leaving enough bare handle to mount a foam mic flag or branded windscreen without your hand covering it in a live shot. It works equally well as a standalone interview mic or as the mono mic paired with a stereo pair for ambience capture.
