AmericanDJ M-AC8 Mirror Ball Motor

The M-AC8 is the AC motor that turns a mirror ball up to 12 inches across. It runs at a steady 6 RPM, which is the speed that scatters pinspot beams around a room fast enough to read as motion but slow enough that the dots stay readable rather than smearing. It is the standard hang for a night club, a mobile rig, or a bar that wants the effect permanently in the ceiling.

It is ETL approved and rated for indoor use. Hang it from a ceiling hook or a truss clamp, thread the ball onto the drive spindle, and it runs whenever it has power - there is nothing to control and nothing to set. Use a safety cable, and check the ball's weight against the motor before you fly it; the mirror ball and safety cable are sold separately.
