Put an LED fixture on a triac dimmer pack and it will often keep glowing faintly after you pull the fader down - the pack leaks just enough current to keep the driver alive. The LED Dummy is the load device that solves it. Plug it into the dimmer channel alongside the fixture and its 2000-ohm element absorbs that residual current, so the channel goes properly dark instead of sitting at a dull ember.

It uses a standard Edison socket, so it goes inline on a US dimmer pack with no adapters. It works across AC 90V to 260V and draws no more than 0.5W of its own, so it costs nothing to leave in circuit. The housing is UV-resistant polycarbonate rated IP 20 for indoor use, it is rated from -10 to +50 degrees C, and the whole thing is 50.5 x 36 x 38 mm and 27.5 grams - small enough to disappear behind the pack.
