AmericanDJ Eye Clamp

The Eye Clamp is a hard-anodized aluminium truss clamp with an M10 welded eye nut on top. The eye is the point: it gives you a rated attachment for a shackle, a steel, a safety bond or a hoist chain on a truss chord, rather than a clamp that only holds a fixture yoke.

It fits 50 mm tubing (48-51 mm), which covers DuraTruss and Global Truss American F31 through F34 and F44P. Load capacity is 200 kg (440 lb) maximum and the clamp itself weighs 1.30 lb. Work inside that rating and inside whatever the truss and the rigging plan allow - the clamp is only ever the weakest or strongest link relative to what it is bolted to.
