amaran Go Bi-Color Ultra Compact Mini Light
The Go is amaran's pocket light: a magnetic bi-color panel that sticks to the back of a phone and puts a usable, colour-accurate source on a face anywhere. Two hundred lumens sounds modest until you remember the working distance, which is arm's length, where it reads as 327 lux at a foot and a half.
Colour temperature runs 2,700K to 6,500K with CRI 97 and above, so it matches a warm interior or daylight through a window without turning skin green. The 800mAh cell gives about 1 hour 21 minutes at full output or 8 hours 50 minutes at ten percent, and recharges in roughly 70 minutes. Control is on the unit or through amaran's iOS and Android app. Five finishes: charcoal, white, blue, green and pink.
