ADAM Audio T8V 8-inch Active Studio Monitor

The T8V is the biggest of the T Series nearfields. An 8-inch polypropylene woofer takes response down to 33 Hz and a stereo pair to 118 dB at a meter, which is enough level for a tracking room rather than just a desk.

Above 2.6 kHz the U-ART accelerated ribbon tweeter takes over inside an HPS waveguide, so the sweet spot stays wide. The cabinet is rear ported, both drivers have their own PWM amplifier for 90 W RMS total, and rear-panel shelving filters trim the response to the room. Inputs are XLR and RCA.
