ADAM Audio Sub8 Active Studio Subwoofer

The Sub8 is the compact ADAM Audio subwoofer, an 8.5-inch paper-cone driver in a front-panel cabinet with 160 W RMS behind it. Response runs from 28 Hz to 150 Hz with a variable 50 Hz to 150 Hz crossover, so it hands over cleanly to a pair of 5-inch or 7-inch nearfields.

It ships with an infrared remote that sets level, phase and mute from the listening position, which matters because subwoofer alignment is a listening job, not a spec-sheet job. Inputs are XLR and RCA at 10 kOhm, and the whole thing weighs 26.5 lb.
