ADAM Audio S5V Three-Way Active Main Monitor

The S5V is a vertical main monitor built around a 12-inch HexaCone woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, a 4-inch carbon dome-cone midrange in an MPS waveguide, and the hand-built S-ART tweeter. Response runs from 25 Hz and a pair holds 128 dB at a meter, with THD at or below 0.3 percent above 100 Hz.

Amplification is 1100 W RMS, 700 W of it on the woofer. Inputs are balanced XLR at +24 dBu and AES3 digital, with the S Series expansion options for surround and immersive rooms. At 114.5 lb this is a soffit or heavy-stand monitor, not a desktop.
