ADAM Audio A7V 7-inch Active Studio Monitor

The A7V is the two-way that replaced ADAM Audio's A7X. A 7-inch Multi-Layer Mineral woofer crosses at 2.8 kHz to a hand-built X-ART tweeter in a rotatable HPS waveguide, and the dual front ports let it sit close to a wall without the low end turning to mush.

Voicing, EQ and room adaptation run in DSP and are set from A Control over Ethernet, including six bands of parametric EQ, level and delay, plus import of a Sonarworks SoundID Reference profile. Inputs are XLR and RCA, the amplifier stage pairs a PWM woofer amp with a Class A/B tweeter amp, and four M8 inserts on the base take stands or mounts.
